Meet Alice

Me and my dad, Bill - Vote for Alice!

Alice graduated from U of M with a degree in economics, and spent 15 years working in market research and strategic planning. In this role, she helped companies make decisions to help them grow successfully.

Alice is also a licensed veterinarian, with a degree from Michigan State University. After veterinary school, she moved to the Boston area for post-doctoral training in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery (Angell Memorial Animal Hospital) and Comparative Medicine and Pathology (MIT).

Her most recent career was as a small business owner. She started and ran DogmaCatmantoo, a pet boutique in the Kerrytown District for over 13 years. She is now retired, and works as a “lunch lady” at Burns Park Elementary. She is also a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.  Alice recently attended the Ann Arbor Citizens’ Academy, which encourages involvement in local government.

She married her former college sweetheart, Mark Kriger, in 2008. They and their dog, Satchel, live in Burns Park.
